So, here's the thing... While I used to have a pack of beautiful animals, I'm down to one horridly overweight, yet feisty 17 year old tortie cat, Normal. I adore her but naming her Normal was a really bad idea, since she's anything but that. From the time we got her, I should have known something was different. She was supposed to be a birthday present to my elderly mom to keep her company after my dad passed. But it was only 2 days before mom called saying I had to take the kitten back! I couldn't understand the problem since mom loved cats! Since we also had a feral cat we'd adopted years before, when playing with Normal we just kept saying how adorable and loving and.... well.. "normal' she seemed. So, thus the name Normal. BAD IDEA. She was and continues to be anything but.... Let's just say that my more intelligent dog, Casey, and Adiva (the feral cat) were much smarter in learning to avoid Normal when she entered a room. Not so much as the case for my poor Bully, Sydney. But Syd has always loved cats and she never abandoned Normal - much to her own detriment. So, I had to video Normal's escapades with her long ago and recently had to sync it to a sped up version of Masquerade without lyrics. But that's not actually the story here really.. I'll never be identified as an "old cat lady, when I become more senior. But it IS possible I'll be identified as "that crazy squirrel lady" since I developed an infinity for feeding my friends peanuts and am obsessed with the little white squirrel that lives near my backyard. However, things took a turn one morning with the 1st one I befriended when I believe he was trying to impress his new "girlfriend" with the nuts he was able to produce from me.... This pic is the screen to the bathroom window... I was in a compromising position when I heard scrambling outside and pulled the drape.... That'd be Samuel hanging off the screen. Oh! And the white one is Oliver. Yes, I name them... sigh. I need a life. (But I really think he impressed his boo... He even let her have the 1st nut and he never does that) OMG I might need an intervention. With the video is the kitten from the video currently and Samuel on the screen.... lol lol lol (PS I had to put together this video submission quickly to meet the deadline and it ends rather abruptly; plus, I didn't get to do the editing to make it a bit more reading friend… regardless… it'll give you an idea of everything) Cheers!
